The LaCrosse 5 Eye Leather Pac isn’t simply a smaller version of our classic men’s boot. We designed and built them specifically for women’s feet. Outside, the 5 Eye’s slip resistant outsole provides sure footing in winter’s worst conditions. Inside, 200g Thinsulate™ keeps you warm and toasty.

Purchased these boots as a mid-warmth barn-chore & hunting boot for spring & fall. Bought size 7 & 8 as I'm a 7.5. 7 felt too short & sent back, 8 feels a little roomy, but kept. Both seem like a wide fit.
The first thing I noticed is the stiff leather upper. Seems very durable, but is taking some time to break-in. Next thing I noticed is how slippery they were on icy/melting driveway. Much stickier in mud.
I found them warm & dry in very wet and muddy conditions with temps in the 30's. Super easy to hose off, treads are very flat. Great for cleaning barn areas because the muck doesn't stick in treads. Good ankle support for hunting in rough terrain, but not great traction. Overall, a decent boot for function, but not a flattering look, even on small feet.
