It wasn’t rocket science, but after watching rubber boots get stuck in deep trenches of muck and mud, we invented Ankle-Fit, a development that revolutionized the way a rubber boot is constructed ensuring a secure fit around the ankle.
Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.

The Big Chief™ hunting waders are 100% waterproof and made of ozone-resistant and scent-free premium rubber with nylon lining for easy on/off. An adjustable internal calf harness ensures a proper fit while a removable EVA footbed offers cushioning comfort. The Ankle-Fit™ design reduces slippage and provides a better fit and walking comfort. 600 G. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation. for colder environments.

    I'm on my second pair. The first took me through five Northwest Duck seasons with 3-5 hunts per week on average. They stay up on their own without having to strap them to your belt. They didn't start to leak until five years, and, interestingly, both went within days of each other. I bought a replacement immediately. Prior to these, I got--at most--two seasons out of my boots, and these are way better in every way.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
