Details

Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.
During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.

Having fun with intricately designed knit patterns and our 115+ years of experience in crafting the highest quality rubber boots, the Myrick features 4mm of comfortable neoprene and a premium hand laid waterproof rubber bottom.
