The durability of our product is top priority as we approach each design.  Our new seam sealing process, Armor-Weld, ensures the durability, strength and flexibility of our seams on the inside and outside of the product through a four-step process.  Seams are stitched, bonded and taped on the inside then coated with an abrasion resistant liquid on the outside.
First came the rubber boot, but we wanted to go deeper. Next came the hip boot, but we wanted to go deeper. And onto the development of the first LaCrosse chest wader that featured the collection of multiple innovations, from Ankle-Fit design to our Alpha Construction. And while we still have high hopes of camo covered scuba gear, we decided to just perfect the chest wader.

Start with heavyweight, fleece-lined neoprene with double stitched seams and our Armor Weld seam sealing process, ensuring long lasting waterproof protection. The abrasion resistant Brush Tuff material and reinforced seat and knees provide rugged durability. Then add our comfortable and insulating Alpha construction boots, a removable shot shell pouch with ample storage space and an attached unfolding game bag and the Swamp Tuff Pro has everything a serious waterfowler demands.

Features
  • Heavyweight, 5mm fleece-lined insulating neoprene upper
  • Abrasion resistant protection from LaCrosse Brush Tuff bi-directional material
  • Armor Weld liquid rubber sealant over double stitched seams for uncompromising waterproof protection
  • Polyurethane protective coating on knees and seat for added durability
  • Top loading pocket and hand warmer with built in shell holder
  • Removable waterproof internal pocket
  • Velcro and Buckled strap with capabilities to create a belt when the wader is folded down
  • Alpha Construction boots have rubber over 3.5mm neoprene plus 1000 grams Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation
  • Contoured Ankle-Fit design to prevent heel slippage
  • Swamp Tuff low lug outsole easily sheds debris and mud
  • Designed with waterfowlers in mind, the Realtree® MAX-5 pattern offers maximum effectiveness for concealment in environments from flooded marshes to open fields.

Use primarily for waterfowl hunting, second pair of lacrosse waders and they are fantastic. Recommend them to anyone. Best wader on the market. Relatively mild winters in nc with mornings as low as single digits however used in Arkansas in negatives breaking through ice is no problem and never got cold.

Before dismissing me off completely, let me start by saying I generally love Lacrosse stuff. I have a couple pairs of boots from them and some odds and ends here and there and they've been awesome so far. I hunt pretty much anything that I'm allowed to and needed some new waders for the ducks so I figured I'd get "the best there is." Now I have no idea how well these things function because I still have the tags on them. I took them out of the box and immediately sighed because I knew they were gonna be too big.

I wear a size 11 shoe and would be considered a pretty long and lanky guy. I'm 5'-11" and 150 lbs, with long legs, torso, and arms, and my lack of weight wasn't the problem. I slipped them on and the shoe fit like a glove, as expected. But the legs would have come up to my chest if the crotch hadn't stopped them and the straps, tightened as much as possible, were about 6 inches over my head.

Let me stop and take a second to say that these things look sick! From the brush guards at the knees and butt, to the rough construction with that mesh stuff in it, to the ammo pouch and the game bag, to the doubly adjustable straps, and the little pockets inside and out.

Now I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what, but pretty much anything I wear is either too short for me because I buy it to fit width wise, or too wide because I buy them to fit my long arms of legs. But I never buy something that fits everywhere but is significantly too long. Judging by the reviews, it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this problem so is there anything I should do? Lacrosse, will you help me out?

I had orginally bought these in Feb 2014 for use for an ATV event that was going to be in an area of brush, trees, etc plus it would be cold. I needed a pair of waders that would handle the surroundings and keep me warm so I ordered these. A week prior to leaving I got sick and missed the trip so flash forward to this year, same trip. Got to the event and put the waders on for the first time and WRONG SIZE.. I ordered a Medium and they sent Stout, even the box said Medium they came in. I was forced to wear them but was very uncomfortable, it was like wearing a large burlap sack around I'm sure I looked funny. The day we got back I called LaCrosse hoping that even with it being over a year since purchased they would hear me out and they did, not only did they listen they were very sorry for the mix up, the time was not an issue to them at all given they had only been worn once and I had just discovered their mix up they were eager to help. Shipped them back and just today got the correct size waders in...LaCrosse you guys rocks..THANKS

Purchased as a gift for my fiancee. 3 pairs later and I have to buy him a new kind and they will definitely be a different brand. First initial pair leaked on the inseam. Replacement pair leaked in the right boot, the second replacement pair leaked in the left. BRAND NEW and still leaked. Money wasted, and such a disappointment. Was informed by Lacrosse that the replacement pair is no longer under warranty, so I am basically out my money. I will never buy another lacrosse product after this.

These have to be the best waders on the market. I've had these (Max4) for almost 2 years now. They have been sturdy and tough through all the heck I've given them. Freezing cold no problem, 60 degrees just as comfortable. They also come with some great features. So impressive that 4 of my buddies bought the same pair after seeing them.
