In 1897 LaCrosse Rubber Mills opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes. Within a few years, however, the invention of the modernfootwear last allowed LaCrosse to re-engineer their manufacturing capabilities as they shifted focus to the craft of rubber overshoes and boots.
Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.

The Utah Brogue™ overshoe is made from 100% waterproof premium rubber, which has both tear and abrasion resistance, and comes in an easy-to-clean satin finish. Designed to fit over heavy-soled, protective toe or high-vamp work boots, it has a nylon net lining for easy on/off and a large adjustable calf. Fits size for size over leather boots.

    Comments about LaCrosse Utah Brogue 12" Overshoes:

    Our family has used these boots for many years on our dairy farm. They have almost never been cut or riped on sharp edges or crack at the joints. They are very easy to get on and off many times a day. I generally can get 4-6 month out of a pair, often wearing them 6-8 hours a day. The problem is no matter how hard we try not to drag our feet, the heals still wear out first. They also can tend to cause "bald spots" on your legs if your wear them a lot.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
