These are the perfect year around Southern hunting boot. The boots work great in the north Georgia mountains and south Georgia swamps. They are very comfortable and fit like a slipper. They are scent free, and the insulation is just right. They are not too hot during early bow or turkey season but will keep you warm and dry on cold days.

I use my boots for hunting, Scotting and guiding. I will say it again that these boots where as comfortable as the new Nikes I walked in the the store with when I purchased them. Three months of hunting with them and my mind hasn't changed.

Bought these and a pair of muck boots to pick them both apart to see which i like most...Found that the alpha burly sports worked the best for me with a medium pair of wools at cooler temps...30-50 degrees. They hug your feet and provide pretty good arch support...you can really cover ground with these and your feet stay comfortable.

I own 2 pair. Each have lasted about 1/2 of a season. Both either have holes, or tears in the upper. Simple brushy timber hunting. Cracks or tears seem to be in the bending areas of the boot, while the holes are from sticks or brush that have ripped or poked through the upper. Great boot, just hasn't proven to be durable for me.

I have owned a pair for 8 years now, and they are just now worn out to the point that I can't wear them hunting anymore. They have a few holes and are coming apart at the soles. I wore these boots everyday of the deer season until the temps dipped below 40degrees, and every day of spring gobbler. They feel like wearing a pair of tennis shoes. For the money, you can't beat these boots. I plan on getting a new pair soon.
