Details
A great all-around recreation pac, the Alpha Ice King™ is waterproof and ideal for ice fishing, snow machines and other cold weather activities. Built on a soft-shell construction with an all-leather upper over naturally insulating neoprene, this boot is both lightweight and durable. A 4mm wool-felt midsole and 800 G. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation deliver outstanding warmth and comfort. Radientex® lining reflects heat back toward the foot while wicking away moisture.

The first time I put the boots on was to go to a Packer game in Green Bay, WI. and as soon as I pulled on the laces 2 of the eyelets snaped off! The dealer did stand behind them and told me "wellcome to China". When are you going to put the quality of Americans back in your boots?

The name says it all i have been using these boots since November and am very satisfied with my purchase. I go ice fishing every other day pretty much never had cold feet once. People with the eyelet problem lace the boots up so you can slip your normal sock in and out, then just leave it and tie it so it wont come loose. This way when you put your heavy socks on you just slide them in and it should be a tight fit without yanking on the eyelets, i have never had one pop off and was shocked that you guys are having problems. The socks that i recommend and SCHEELS EXTREME WEATHER SOCKS for the MAX warmth. Hope this works and donot regret buy these boots at all and its just money you cant take it with ya.

Before ordering these boots I read the online reviews describing eyelets popping off. I figured that those boots must have been occasional, rare lemons as there was no way a reputable company such as Lacrosse would sell a product that is consistently defective. I ordered a pair and was immediately dismayed to have two eyelets pop off the second time that I laced up the boots. I emailed Lacrosse about the problem and they sent me a form response saying that I could return the boots and, "LaCrosse will, at its option either repair, replace or pro-rate based on wear/tear that is evident."
I demanded a full refund and they consented. The whole process was a significant annoyance - I needed a pair of reliable winter boots and instead spent a couple of weeks dealing with these. I'm baffled and irritated that Lacrosse would sell such a poorly made product. The disinterested response to yet another person returning boots for the same reason insures that I will never buy another pair of their boots.

I bought these boots for ice fishing and could not be happier. I laced them up on the second time wearing them and eyelet popes off. I sent them back, which was easy. They have had them for two weeks now with no response of when I will be getting them back. I wish they could fix the problem. I have a ice fishing tournament to fish in this weekend and no boots.

I've worn them 6 times since I got them for Christmas, two of the eyelets snapped off!! They are now in the hands of the LaCrosse factory because they were purchased more than 30 days ago as a Christmas gift.
