Details
The Burly® Classic features ozone-resistant and scent-free premium rubber and offers 100% waterproof protection. An adjustable strap provides a secure fit and the LaCrosse® Ankle-Fit™ design prevents slippage while walking. A wool-felt midsole gives insulating protection and a removable EVA footbed provides cushioning comfort. Traction comes from the self-cleaning chevron-cleated outsole that won’t track mud or dirt. A great boot for messy environments.

- Ozone-resistant, abrasion-resistant rubber offers 100% waterproof protection. Our premium compound of rubber has a high tensile strength, which means greater tear-resistance and greater durability.
- 9mm wool-felt midsole with a foam insulated bottom gives insulation from cold ground and cushioning comfort.
- Removable EVA footbed adds cushioning for all day comfort
- Developed in 1963, LaCrosse® Ankle-Fit™design features a narrowed ankle pocket that grips the top of the foot better and locks the heel in place preventing excess rubbing and chafing
- Extended sizes available for women or those with smaller feet
- Chevron cleated outsole is ideal for sloshing through mud and water. The large cleats shed mud and debris while giving you great grip and traction.

Great boot for wet conditions, mud, hiking. Great traction and comfortable. However, has tendency to dry rot/crack after 3 years in the back of the boot about 6 inches up and in stress joints which lets water in. This is my third pair and all have done this. I'm trying out the ZXT Guardsman this time. Indications are that they are a tougher boot.... We'll see!

I use these boots to train dogs and clean my dog kennel twice a day. I have worn Lacrosse Burly boots for many years with good results. However, these new boots in only a couple weeks are showing a lot of wear on the soles. The heels are three eighths of an inch smaller in width and a quarter inch smaller in length than my old pair which results in one's ankle tending to roll on uneven ground. Quality is not nearly as good as my old boots. I would not recommend buying these boots until quality is improved.

I have been using these boots for years and probably wear them 200 days a year! I turkey hunt and deer hunt and scout with them and they are great! I have tried the big expensive boots but nothing compares to these. only negative is I wear them so much, one will usually start to leak after about a year or two... but that is after walking miles and miles in them.

Got a new pair last year' ripped hole frist tree I climed. to thin' frist pair lasted five years! then dry rotterd 2nd pair lasted two years then cracked. not a happy hunter!!
