In 1897 LaCrosse opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes, quickly transitioning into overshoes, rubber boots. Next came jungle boots, pac boots, tennis shoes, boating shoes, moonboots, hip boots, waders, leather boots, mining boots and many more… And through it all we’ve learned many lessons that have contributed to a century of experience in crafting high quality footwear.
Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.

The ZXT™ Irrigation rubber boots are 100% waterproof and made of ZXT, a premium, ozone-resistant rubber compound with high tensile strength for durability. A full cushion foam footbed adds comfort and the Trac-Lite™ outsole grips in mud and other loose terrain. A top strap buckles for an adjustable, secure fit.
