The boot is a great design, due to the the size of my feet (12) and my weight (174) the ankles are loose so will not be good if I used the boots for long distance walking. As an Electrical Engineer I am lookingfor the Electrical Hazard rating and these have not let me down .., The steel toe area gets cut easily so I had to use aftermarket toe prtectors to eliminate the rapid wear and they look even more rugged. The design gives a good look for daily use and the boot overall is very comfortable. The replacement insoles were hard to find even at the retailer, I dont like changing to aftermarket insoles specially if I might change the EH rating doing so... I like to stick with "factory installed equipment" I feel safe that way. Great for very cold weather and wet Fall.. A little too hot during the summer in New England. Dont mind much as I have to use them regardless 2 of 3 seasons. The insoles wore out in probably less than 8 months and as soon as I feel the wear I compare the life expectancy of the soles and boot ... The boots were fine so I looked finally at your website but the large size was not available on the pull down menu, I called LaCrosse and finally got the insoles. Thanks

I had the same boot for 6 years and they held up amazing, for years. The sole started to sperate a few months ago so I am ordering a new pair now. Well worth the money to have a boot last 6 years.
