Details

In 1897 LaCrosse opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes, quickly transitioning into overshoes, rubber boots. Next came jungle boots, pac boots, tennis shoes, boating shoes, moonboots, hip boots, waders, leather boots, mining boots and many more… And through it all we’ve learned many lessons that have contributed to a century of experience in crafting high quality footwear.
During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.

Completely refreshed for 2013, the Alphaburly® Pro is focused on a personalized fit and guaranteed comfort. Constructed with a more-natural rubber compound, this boot is much more flexible and easier to get on and off. We’ve replaced the fleece lining with an embossed neoprene liner for good air circulation to keep legs and feet cool and comfortable while the adjustable neoprene gusset increases stability and accommodates varying calf sizes.

Bought these boots as replacements for a previous pair of lacrosse boots. They are larger in size than before. I do like the changes for the pro style. Will send back and order my normal shoe size.

I've grown with the lacrosse forest green 18" for 15 years. Low impact hunting is critical in my success, that means sneaking down creeks and river bottoms before dark. Keep scent free and stay comfortable and dry with Lacrosse, plus keep the legit old school bow hunter look!

I've had two pair of these boots previously and loved them. They fit beautifully and held up well to heavy duty use 2-3x a week. I recently bought a new pair and was disappointed by the new sizing- the same size was now too big and they had to be sent back. Overall, a great boot if the sizing works for you.
