In 1897 LaCrosse opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes, quickly transitioning into overshoes, rubber boots. Next came jungle boots, pac boots, tennis shoes, boating shoes, moonboots, hip boots, waders, leather boots, mining boots and many more… And through it all we’ve learned many lessons that have contributed to a century of experience in crafting high quality footwear.
During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.

Completely refreshed for 2013, the Alphaburly® Pro is focused on a personalized fit for women and guaranteed comfort. Constructed with a more-natural rubber compound, this boot is much more flexible and easier to get on and off. We’ve replaced the fleece lining with an embossed neoprene liner for good air circulation to keep legs and feet cool and comfortable while the adjustable neoprene gusset increases stability and accommodates varying calf sizes.

  • LaCrosse® innovated Alpha technology by combining high quality, scent-free rubber with naturally insulating neoprene resulting in an extremely durable, lightweight and comfortable boot
  • 1,600 grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation line the inside of the boot to keep you warm on the coldest days
  • Thick cushioning EVA midsole offers extra comfort and shock absorption
  • Adjustable rear gusset allows for a customizable fit
  • Developed in 1963, LaCrosse® Ankle-Fit™ design features a narrowed ankle pocket that grips the top of the foot better and locks the heel in place preventing excess rubbing and chafing
  • Mossy Oak® Break-Up Infinity® camouflage
  • The non-loading Burly Pro outsole provides optimal traction in all hunting conditions
  • Fiberglass shank
  • 15" height
  • 4.8 lbs per pair

These boots were a exchange for a damaged boot I sent back that you no longer carry. My other boots were much warmer my feet never got cold ever but these boots my feet freeze in. I hunt and ice fish. I do like that they fit well and i dont slip on the ice, easy to walk in and light weight. Their nice boots other wise just not as warm as I thought they would be for 1600 G

LOVED these boots. My feet are always cold and lest winter, 2013/14 I was living in Iowa. I farm so I have to be outside all the time and with one pair of socks my feet stayed warm. I was actually shocked how well they worked. Now I was moving around most of the time, not sitting in a tree hunting so that could make a difference, but I did have to sit in the unheated barn while my goats were in labor and wait for hours some days. I have moved and our winters here won't be as bad as up there, but I still look forward to the cold days so I can put my warm boots on and know my feet won't be cold. I would add that they make your feet look huge and they are bulky, but that is a small price to pay for warm feet
