Details

Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.
During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.

Inspired from the industrial nature of our past and designed in honor of 1897, the year in which our brand was born, the Hxon displays a modern take on a classic style featuring a premium hand laid rubber intricately crafted over an insulating 4mm neoprene sock.

    I just received these boots today, and first impression- super cute! I'm usually a size 8 in shoes, so that's what I ordered, and the boots are a perfect fit! I have no complaints, the only thing i'll add is, if you have wide feet you may want to order a size larger. I have average, maybe even a little on the narrow side, feet- and these fit like a glove, if my feet were any wider I wouldn't have been able to fit my foot in the boot.
