Details

During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.
First came the rubber boot, but we wanted to go deeper. Next came the hip boot, but we wanted to go deeper. And onto the development of the first LaCrosse chest wader that featured the collection of multiple innovations, from Ankle-Fit design to our Alpha Construction. And while we still have high hopes of camo covered scuba gear, we decided to just perfect the chest wader.

These rugged, feature-packed waders are perfect for duck hunting. Waterproof, breathable Talson® nylon makes for a lightweight upper for early season or warmer climates. The waterproof rubber over 3.5mm of naturally insulating neoprene with 600 G. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation on wader provides warmth (boots are solid rubber). Armortex®-coated chaps offer puncture and tear resistance. These waders include a unique "no see" locking suspender buckle design and easily adjustable elastic suspenders.

Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox Mossy Oak Duck Blind Waders:

I love these waders in my line of work I don't have time for a secondary product. These seem to be great I'm in my waders every day and I need performance. The only thing I've noticed I would change is the arch support I'm soft ground including snow and soft sticky mud and a stiffer arch means less foot strain. Thank you LaCrosse for a great product.

First season (waterfowl) using these and so far there great. Fit is very good and I'm a picky person to fit, taking them off is a little tough but understandable, just the boots. Light weight and very easy to maneuver in. Recommended to a friend and he thinks there great too.

Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox Mossy Oak Duck Blind Waders:

I used to use 3mm Neoprene waders in early season and I used to get hot in them. Once I switched to these waders, there is no going back. They are sooooo comfortable. Also, with long-johns I can wear them all the way into colder late season (I hunt in the North-East USA).

Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox Mossy Oak Duck Blind Waders:

Worked great the first couple of hunts. Hunted these in 6-80 degree temps. First leak was on the butt seam. then the inner leg seam. Decided to aqua seal all the seams. Now I have a major leak where the boot meets the wader material. They are only 8 months old right now. We will see what the warranty does for me. If it wasnt for the leaks, I would be very happy with them
