I remove snow in winter from a health care facility. Hours on a cabbless/no heat tractor + hand shoveling between cars parked(1-4 feet apart) in parking lot(minimal physical activity to produce heat). Worn below 0F temperatures to 40F. Feet always warm, never sweat, always dry, excellent traction & durability. Mine are all brown(no camo). Would defenitly buy again. After 2nd. winter in 2010(5 snowstorms, 2"-2ft.-total acculumation of 5ft of snow trekking through so far (left this comment 2/28/10), minimal tread wear & boots look like new. Even when making repairs inside buildings(70-80F) feet dont sweat. A little bulky, not for runnig a marathon, but my feet stay warmer & dryer than they have in 20 years of construction & snow/ice removal. Have had rocky, timberland, wolverine, redwing, danner+more. Top quality winter snow boot, very comfortable, easy off&on+easy lacing. If unsure call the 800 number. I did and the woman I spoke with was very knowlegable and recommended my boots. A real pleasure to stand in 9" of snow with warm/dry/comfortable feet. FOR REAL!

Bought these boots before Thanksgiving to use on hunting trip to PA. Warmth and traction are a must in area I hunt and both of these qualities were great. But after 1 day (or should I say 2 hours) of hunting I realized the hard way there was no padding or support in the eyelet over the ankle (the one set-back from the rest on the boot). I ended up going back to camp mid-morning, grabbed 4 hot pads from the kitchen, doubled them over and crammed one on each side of the boots to make it somewhat manageable, and even then I had to cafefully watch what I was stepping on (moss covered rock or logs) or the pain would have doubled me over. If walking on flat ground or a road, these are great...if hunting in normal white-tailed deer habitat, look for something else.
