Details

In 1897 LaCrosse opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes, quickly transitioning into overshoes, rubber boots. Next came jungle boots, pac boots, tennis shoes, boating shoes, moonboots, hip boots, waders, leather boots, mining boots and many more… And through it all we’ve learned many lessons that have contributed to a century of experience in crafting high quality footwear.
The frigid temperatures of La Crosse, Wisconsin provided all the research and development we needed to begin manufacturing Pac boots many years ago. However, the blizzard of 1985 made us rethink our single felt lined Pac boots as we revolutionized the Pac boot industry by launching the Iceman, our very first double lined Pac boot.

The 6 Eye Pac may be the most versatile winter boot we make. It provides enough warmth and traction to get you through the toughest winter chores, but its low-profile fit and good looks also make it ideal for cold-weather errands and winter commuting.
