The outdoors is your home. Always be comfortable in it.

4 years in development. Tested over 4,000 miles. The end result? Our most comfortable hunting boot ever. Featuring a neoprene core with a polyurethane shell, the AeroHead is extremely durable while being both flexible and supportive. Requiring no break-in period whatsoever, the ultra-lightweight AeroHead lets you stalk prey silently and confidently. Hunting has never been so comfortable.

Until now, comfort and durability never reached their full potential.

Unequaled comfort and durability begins with our AeroForm™ technology — a revolutionary process in which liquid polyurethane is injected into a mold around the neoprene sock. Once bonded, it creates a material that’s, dare we say, warmer, lighter, and stronger than rubber. The AeroHead® is 100% waterproof and fits the way a boot should fit — perfectly comfortable.

Unrelenting terrain is no match for unrivaled support and comfort.

Mud. Muck. Brush. The fact is, you never quite know what lies ahead. And that’s why we built the AeroHead® with more polyurethane underfoot than any other boot — 14mm to be exact. The end result? Optimal support and comfort in less than optimal conditions. Proven to never compress over time, our thick polyurethane midsole is also guaranteed to keep your feet a lot warmer, a lot longer.

Stand your ground. And tread it too.

Nothing should ever stand between you and the hunt. Not Mother Nature’s wily ways. Not the toughest of terrain. And no boot keeps you treading forth like the AeroHead®. Its Aero outsole features a lightweight, high-grade rubber sole that won’t turn rock hard in the cold or get sticky soft in the heat. Its unique tread with chamfered edges and angled lugs keeps things light by shedding the mud, as well anything else that tries to hitch a ride on your boots. And with its 90-degree heel, you get the needed support and stability for climbing the ladder to your deer stand.

Jack of all terrains.

When it comes to thick and unforgiving brush, the AeroHead® simply brushes it aside. Knowing all too well that neoprene alone is susceptible to rips and tears, the AeroHead® features our Brush Tuff bi-directional material — a unique combination of spandex and Lycra layered over neoprene for extra durability. And because there’s no such thing as being too durable, we added a full polyurethane shin guard for added protection when treading through tough terrain and climbing the rungs to the tree stand.
Armor Weld
Double stitched seams are bonded and taped on the inside, then coated with an abrasion resistant liquid rubber on the outside for uncompromising waterproof protection and durability.
Waterproof

Each year, along with most of my hunting friends, I purchase an expensive pair of LaCrosse hunting boots, and each year they fail to stand up to the challenges of the Louisiana swamps. Most of us don't mind paying for good boots that will hold up to the encounters of the swamps, but having to purchase $140 boots each year because they aren't built tough enough is getting old.

The most common problem is that after about 20 miles of walking they all develop a crack and leak right where the rubber meets the neoprene. Being an avid hunter puts me in contact with many other hunters in Louisiana, and I've found this is a common occurrence with most boots, and especially our LaCrosse boots. If you'd like I can send you pictures of what I'm explaining.
After watching the Arrowhead promotion on your website, where they were supposedly tested for 4,000 miles I had to laugh, and think to myself, "they didn't walk in my swamp, because if they had they would have leaked after about 20 miles".

It appears that the flexing of the boot is what causes this wear to crack the boot. Is there anything you plan to do to stop this, because frankly I, along with many other hunters, are sick of paying good money for a product that just doesn't hold up like it should.

We need rubber boots that are 18" tall, well insulated, tough - tear resistant (lots of briars, sticks, canes, cypress knees, and such to tear a boot), that is light and can last more than half a season. Do you have anything that meets those demands?

    Great Boot

Comments about AeroHead 18" Realtree Xtra 7.0MM:

I live in Alaska and have been a die-hard fan of XtraTuffs for years. After buying this boot, I will never wear XtraTuffs again. I use these boots year round for hunting, fishing, and trapping. They are really comfortable in all types of terrain - woods, mountains, rocky beaches. They front guards keep the devils club at bay. I would recommend the thinner (3.5mm) to anyone who will be using these in warm weather - the 7mm is a little warm in the summer time on long hikes.

Lacrosse listened to what the hunters needed, and built a comfortable, reliable, and warm boot tough enough to hold up under the most punishing conditions, the Honey Island Swamp. These are by far the best hunting boots I've every owned.
