Details

In 1897 LaCrosse opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes, quickly transitioning into overshoes, rubber boots. Next came jungle boots, pac boots, tennis shoes, boating shoes, moonboots, hip boots, waders, leather boots, mining boots and many more… And through it all we’ve learned many lessons that have contributed to a century of experience in crafting high quality footwear.
The frigid temperatures of La Crosse, Wisconsin provided all the research and development we needed to begin manufacturing Pac boots many years ago. However, the blizzard of 1985 made us rethink our single felt lined Pac boots as we revolutionized the Pac boot industry by launching the Iceman, our very first double lined Pac boot.

The NMT PAC offers supreme protection from cold, wet conditions with a 100% waterproof vulcanized rubber bottom, a full-grain leather upper, and 400 G. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation. The removable 5-layer insulated liner with Radiantex® reflects heat and can be removed and dried quickly. The lightweight non-metallic toe does not transfer heat or cold to the inside of the boot and meets or exceeds ASTM standards F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH.

Features
  • 100% waterproof, vulcanize rubber bottom with a waterproof leather upper.
  • 400 grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation lines the inside of the boot to keep you warm on the coldest days.
  • Removable 5-layer insulated liner with Radiantex® can be removed and quickly dried if necessary.
  • Deep 90º heel designed for easy navigation of ladder rungs.
  • Trac-Lite™ outsole delivers outstanding all-around traction in mud, snow and other loose terrain
  • Steel shank
  • 12" height
  • 6.0 lbs per pair
  • The non-metallic safety toe won’t conduct heat or cold to the foot, and meets or exceeds ASTM standard F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels.

Comments about LaCrosse Non-Metallic Toe Pac Boots:

I served 2 years at the US Army's NWTC in Alaska and we had the only warmer boots that are better than these…But the military boots were not as comfortable nor were they steel (so-to-speak) toed. These are a great boot for when you need protection while working and warmth from the weather.

This boot can't get any better. They are very very warm, they look good and they feel so comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better boot. It's so nice not to have to worry about your feet being cold while I'm ice fishing on the lake!

A warm boot for working outdoors. I work in the wind energy business and spend a lot of time in the cold and these boots keep my feet warm and dry. I have also used them ice fishing.

Comments about LaCrosse Non-Metallic Toe Pac Boots:

The winter weather gets very cold and wet in northern Scotland, so I thought I'd try a pair of specialised cold weather boots for my outdoor security job. These seemed good at first, nice and tough, but the leather cracked just behind the toecap on both boots after only 2 months of use, rendering them useless in deep puddles/snow and heavy rain. The heels and soles wore away very quickly too and both boots are now almost completely flat underneath with very little grip left. I've now gone back to wearing my old boots and just wear these as casual boots.

Would not recommend to anyone needing long-lasting, waterproof boots.

Comments about LaCrosse Non-Metallic Toe Pac Boots:

I wish the Lacrosse Manufacture would fix the boots so they do not crack. I have had these steel toe boots for 2 months and boots now are cracking on the top and now are not waterproof. This is the second pair of boots I had to take back because of the rubber cracking on the top of the boot.PPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE FIXXX THIS PROBLEM...THank You Verry MUCH. I was able to replace the boots however and no cost... Thanks
