Great boot, but one huge problem if u are worried about scent control, dont buy these boots. They have a PBC SMELL AND A RUBBER smell that you cant get rid of. You will get winded every time!!! Great boot and construction though, might work for turkeys!!

Have had several types of snakeproof boots in the past and all of them have leaked. Wore these boots for 5 hours of deer scouting in ankle deep water and not a drop of water leaked in, and they were very comfortable.

I bought these boots after searching out and trying on probably a dozen other brands and types (lace ups, pull ups, Danner, Rocky, Chippewa... None of them satisfied me. These were exactly what I was looking for- A snake-proof, water-proof rubber boot. I couldn't ask for more. Unlike other snake-boots, this boot is not bulky, heavy, rigid, or hot. I use these as a multipurpose hiking, trekking, hunting, boating, and mudding boot. The only things I don't like about them are (1) that pesky strap on the back that dangles and serves no real purpose, and (2) if you are not wearing high socks (or have your pants tucked in), the tops of the boot will rub your upper calf raw. Also, the snake-proof feature and the insulated feature should be mutually exclusive for obvious reasons ;). Thanks LaCrosse for making this excellent boot.
