During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.
First came the rubber boot, but we wanted to go deeper. Next came the hip boot, but we wanted to go deeper. And onto the development of the first LaCrosse chest wader that featured the collection of multiple innovations, from Ankle-Fit design to our Alpha Construction. And while we still have high hopes of camo covered scuba gear, we decided to just perfect the chest wader.

The tough, feature-packed Brush-Tuff Extreme ATS (Advanced Tracking System) hunting wader provides the ultimate in warm, waterproof protection. It uses heavyweight 5mm fleece lined neoprene with abrasion-resistant, bidirectional Brush Tuff material for the chest and legs, while 1600 G. ThinsulateTM Ultra Insulation lines the boot to keep feet warm in the coldest water. An aggressive ATS outsole system provides traction in wet, muddy conditions.

  • Uncompromising waterproof protection
  • Heavyweight 5mm fleece-lined insulating neoprene upper
  • Abrasion resistant protection from LaCrosse Brush Tuff bi-directional material
  • Top loading pocket and hand warmer with built in shell holder
  • Double stitched seams and polyurethane reinforced knees for added durability
  • Buckled straps can be used as a belt when the wader is folded down
  • ATS outsole for advanced traction and stability
  • Designed with waterfowlers in mind, the Realtree® MAX-5 pattern offers maximum effectiveness for concealment in environments from flooded marshes to open fields.

worked great first few times out, then the neoprene and armour between the knee pads started breaking open. looked like a good design but when waders only lasted part of a season very dissapointing. willing to give lacrosse another chance but these waders function well but only last a couple months.

Worthless Waders

They were great for the first month. The bottom of the sole came unglued and started leaking. The crotch also started leaking. I thought for the money paid for them they should last a season or two, but I was highly disappointed they don't. I would not recommend these unless you want to be freezing cold and wet!!

Going on the fourth season with these waders, and finally sprung a leak. Hunting marsh land every chance possible. From walking through needle grass, sunk in mud up to my waist, busting through thickets and breaking ice. Best waders I have ever owned. Recommend lacrosse to anyone.

Bought these waders from a local dealer, leaked the first time I used them. Brought them back to have them replaced and still havnt recieved them. That was December last year. Now it's November, almost 1 year later and I still don't have my waders. Don't buy lacrosse waders, they can't take care of there customers.
