Details

The frigid temperatures of La Crosse, Wisconsin provided all the research and development we needed to begin manufacturing Pac boots many years ago. However, the blizzard of 1985 made us rethink our single felt lined Pac boots as we revolutionized the Pac boot industry by launching the Iceman, our very first double lined Pac boot.
During his studies at the University of Notre Dame, Albert Funk helped to pioneer the development of synthetic rubber, also known as neoprene. He would later partner with his brother Arthur, becoming owners of the LaCrosse Rubber Mills, where they would revolutionize the rubber boot industry with the introduction of ALPHA, the very first neoprene lined rubber boot.

The Alpha Iceman™ winter pac boots are guaranteed to keep feet warm and cozy in the coldest conditions. Alpha Soft Shell technology provides warm, lightweight, waterproof comfort. 5mm of naturally insulating neoprene combine with 400 G. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation and a removable 9mm wool liner for added protection against the cold. The high-abrasion, blown rubber bottom is 100% waterproof, making these boots perfect for cold, wet conditions.

I ice fish alot and this is by far the best boot I have ever had. I have had two pair of the original iceman they were very good boots also but like these better. They are really lightweight and comfortable right out of the box. Also found that the strap on ice cleats fit these boots much better. The liners remove very easy and go back in very easy. They did seem to run a little smaller than the original iceman, I think this might be from more insulation and the neopreme that feels like a custom fit. Recomend getting one size larger than normal work boot size. Excellent boot.

the material these boots are made of qualifies them for house wear as opposed to wearing them outside where they get torn up quite easily by very modrate use.

These are the best pair of pac boots I have ever owned. I bought these boots two years ago from a local retailer and have been wearing them ever since. They work great for sitting in the treestand all day in 15 degree weather. They also work great for ice fishing as they are warm and water proof. The boots keep your feet dry all day. The inside of the neopreane does get a bit damp if you do a lot of walking but that is not noticable when wearing the boot. I usually wear a heavy wool sock with these boots and it works great for my uses. I would buy these boots again they are worth the money spent!

These boots are very comfortable.I used these boots ice fishing four times and every time my feet got cold . After the second time took the liners out and felt the inside of both boots and they were damp.So I feel them after every I go and they are damp. Where there is moisture there is cold.i don't think neoprene wicks away moisture that well or is not completely water proof .Not bad boot but not great boot.
