Comments about LaCrosse Adamas 8" Black Steel Toe Work Boots:
I purchased these boots at the end of August of 2011 and got them delivered to my home in early September and started to use them for a minimum of 40 hours a week in a meat room the safety toe is well made and the boot had minimum break in time. The boots seemed to be well made and kept my feet dry for a time. They seemed like they were great boots however in mid-february the seams on the boots began to fall apart I first noticed the seam on the back of the right boot separated and started letting water into the boot, I then noticed that another seam had separated on the same boot had separated this seam was holding the sole of the boot onto the upper and also allowed water to flood the boot. I was very disappointed because having paid close to $200 for a pair of boots I expected them to hold up better under the strains of my workplace. I in no way think that the stresses I placed on these boots were unconventional , they were exposed to water and meat room cleaner every day and I wore them for at least 8 hours a day of constantly standing on concrete, however I have a pair of boots that were issued to me by the Army that had gone through basic training meaning mud, being worn for 10-12 hours a day for over 3 months I ran in these military issue boots, slept in these boots, and basically lived in these boots and they lasted me for three years before they showed any signs of failure, So I expected quite a bit more than six months of service from these boots I purchased made by Lacrosse.

I bought these boots because I needed a comfortable boot that would protect my feet and be small enough to wear under captive footwear. These work awesome.
