Details

It wasn’t rocket science, but after watching rubber boots get stuck in deep trenches of muck and mud, we invented Ankle-Fit, a development that revolutionized the way a rubber boot is constructed ensuring a secure fit around the ankle.
Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.

The 12" Insulated Pac rubber work boots are 100% waterproof to take on any grimy job. The Trac-Lite™ slip-resistant outsole provides superior traction. The steel safety toe meets or exceeds ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH. A 9mm woolfelt midsole and foam insulation provides warmth in cold conditions. The boot has a contoured heel that prevents slippage and makes walking more comfortable. A protective rubber toecap adds durability for working conditions that require crawling.

Features
  • Ozone-resistant, abrasion-resistant rubber offers 100% waterproof protection. ZXT™ rubber is a premium compound of rubber that has a high tensile strength, which means greater tear-resistance and greater durability.
  • Polymeric foam insulation keeps you warm during cold days on the job.
  • Thick, 9mm wool/felt insole for added insulation.
  • Developed in 1963, LaCrosse® Ankle-Fit™design features a narrowed ankle pocket that grips the top of the foot better and locks the heel in place preventing excess rubbing and chafing
  • Removable EVA insole for cushioning comfort.
  • Rubber protective toecap offers added durability for those in conditions that require crawling
  • 3-eyelet lace top for a secure fit
  • Trac-Lite™ outsole delivers outstanding all-around traction in mud, rock and other loose terrain
  • Steel shank
  • 12" height
  • 6 lbs per pair
  • Steel safety toe meets or exceeds ASTM standard F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels.

Bought as a pair of boots for winter to avoid the usual leather boots taking too long to dry.

Ordered and bought another pair within days of first pair arriving.

Within weeks a friend ordered a pair and today(2years later,)another buddy jumped in after trying mine after a long day in his trusty leather boots. He did'nt want to take the lacrosses's off. "Bliss"

First friend likes to drag his heels everywhere and has worn the heels bad, but I have had near no wear on mine. Its like anything I guess, if you use an item as it should then all good. The rubber uppers are deceivingly tough.

Today two years later, I still have the second pair stashed and the first pair looking top shape for next winter!

They fit super snug but easy to slip out of. I got the next size up as I like to wear a thick pair of Marino wool sox.

Had a day or two breaking in the right boot where the steel cap meets the bridge/top of the foot but had no problems since.

Some days I can have these boots on for upto 18 hours!

When they arrived I noted "Made in China" but any reservation I had has gone out the window. The quality is very understated and I would not hesitate to buy another pair if the pair I use will hurry up and start showing some wear.

Ps the yellow rubber toe and trim was an eyesore at first, but I soon learnt it is awesome for seeing where your foot is in your periphreal vision, particularly in low light.
          Thanks

These boots were used exclusively in hydraulic fracturing. Could stand in icy water at times and feet remained comfortable. Mud would not pull them off your feet. The best gripping rubber rubber boots I ever had. I could walk over the treating iron with them about as well as with my regular steel toe boots.Fantastic rubber boots. Anyone working on an oil or gas wellsite would do well to have a pair of these as they help prolong the life of your regular boots.
