In 1897 LaCrosse opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes, quickly transitioning into overshoes, rubber boots. Next came jungle boots, pac boots, tennis shoes, boating shoes, moonboots, hip boots, waders, leather boots, mining boots and many more… And through it all we’ve learned many lessons that have contributed to a century of experience in crafting high quality footwear.
Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.

The Premium Hip rubber work boot is designed for full-leg protection in muddy, grimy jobsites. These boots are made of the ozone-resistant ZXT™ rubber compound with high tensile strength for abrasion and tear resistance. Rubber is reinforced at the leg and ankle for increased durability. The canvas lining and pull straps allow easy on/off, and the removable EVA insole delivers comfort and cushioning. The slip-resistant Trac-Lite™ outsole provides all-around traction in mud, snow and other loose terrain.
