The Silencer™ is designed for all-day hunting in comfort. The Dry-Core™ barrier offers 100% waterproof protection and moisture-transfer, and the strong, durable upper provides tough abrasion-resistance in pursuit of game. 1000 Denier nylon upper for durability and leather/nylon upper. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation adds warmth for cold conditions.

I love this boot it's warm, lightweight, and not expensive, but I would pay alot for this boot. It is worth alot more money then it cost.

After standing on concrete for 5 hours at 28 degrees and my feet still being warm these are the boots for me. Usually my feet get cold after just an hour or two but not with these boots. They also work great for snowblowing the driveway (takes about an hour and a half).

the boot is very nice but the first day out of the box they let in water in the corners of the soles. I will most likely return them.

Best Uses
My second wearing of the boots were when I was pheasant hunting in light rain for about 2 hours. My socks became quite wet making my feet cold and uncomfortable. Purchased them at Gander Mountain, hope they'll let me return them and get a different brand. I'm bummed, they were very light weight and comfortable for trudging around the countryside. But it does rain and there's the occassional creek to cross. : (

good they look good but wearing and looking are not a factor when your feet are wet and cold
