Details

In 1897 LaCrosse Rubber Mills opened its doors manufacturing rubber horseshoes. Within a few years, however, the invention of the modernfootwear last allowed LaCrosse to re-engineer their manufacturing capabilities as they shifted focus to the craft of rubber overshoes and boots.
Rubber, in its natural uncured form, is a sticky substance extracted from trees and then turned into a durable and elastic material through the process of vulcanization. This process is unique to each manufacturer and for over 115 years, we have been experimenting, testing, and tweaking our process, ensuring that our rubber goods are of the highest quality.

Designed to protect boots and feet in muddy conditions, these overshoes fit size for size over leather work boots and are made of ZXT™, a premium rubber compound with high tensile strength for tear resistance and durability. The chevron-cleated outsole supplies traction and won’t track mud or dirt.

    I love these boots. They fit well and wear great. They look great too. I buy a size bigger than my shoe size so they are easy on and off.

    I really love this over boot, but I worked the bottoms off off them. I work out on a workover rig in cold conditions in Colorado. I think they are great for staying warm with just regular boots on (I wear a cheap boot, and use plastic bags with these). The only bad thing is they wore out within two winters. Maybe I just drag my feet a little too much! GREAT BOOT!
