We’ve combined a rugged leather and textile upper with a lightweight, comfortable platform underfoot to create an all-purpose hunting boot with an athletic feel. Its DuraFit heel cup wraps your heel in a rubber shell for added durability as well as support and stability on uneven terrain. This boot is 100% waterproof, thanks to its Dry-Core® lining, and is available with Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation, perfect for late season hunts. Head out to the woods in confidence and let the wind be your guide.

Like a refuge for your feet.

Every pair of Windrose boots is outfitted with LaCrosse’s Dry-Core® lining, making them 100% waterproof so no need to avoid deep puddles or shallow brooks and streams. Hunting in colder weather? Insulated Windrose styles feature Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation, which provides the warmth you need without the weight and bulk of traditional insulations.

Toes should move freely. Heels should not.

Durability, stability and support are critical when hunting on uneven ground. The Windrose has you covered with an exterior rubber heel cup that locks your heel in place and delivers a secure fit. This makes the Windrose ideal for traversing rocks, berms, slopes and any other unforgiving terrain you may encounter.

Grounded in comfort.

The Windrose’s athletic shoe-like comfort comes from the thick EVA midsole combined with its cushioning polyurethane footbed. Together, they deliver cushion, support and excellent rebounding energy with every step. Solid traction is delivered thanks to a specially designed lug pattern made to shed mud. It also maintains significant surface contact, and more surface contact means more stability.
